Tread Lite® Power Step by Lippert Components® features sleek and durable lightweight design for RVs

Elkhart, Ind. —Lippert Components, Inc. (LCI^®) introduces its new Tread Lite^® Power Step, which combines a sleek, stylish design with durability, safety and more. The lightweight Tread Lite Power Step's recently upgraded mechanics allow it to automatically extend and retract faster and provide extra stability. The Tread Lite Power Step also features built-in safety features.

Significantly lighter than its steel counterpart, the Euro-style Tread Lite Power Step is built with lightweight aluminum step treads, automatically extends and retracts quickly, and features obstruction-sensing technology that stops movement if any obstructions are encountered. Its heavy-duty, time-tested motor provides smooth, efficient operation and its patent-pending direct drive design lends firm stability. Attractive, non-slip treads are covered with gritty, easy-grip coating to promote safety and sure footing when entering and exiting the RV, no matter the weather, and an LED light strip makes it easy to see the step’s location at night. The Tread Lite Power Step is made in the USA and is available in single and double step configurations; a triple step will be available in the coming months.

Aaron Rasmussen, General Manager of LCI’s Kaysville, UT, division, explained that the upgraded step has undergone rigorous testing to assure efficient function, reliability and strength. “The Tread Lite Power Step has passed extensive cycle testing under simulated loads and has proven to provide long-term durability.”
