Lippert Components hires Mike Padrnos to support growth in heavy trucking market

Elkhart, Ind. — Lippert Components, Inc. (LCI^®) announces that Mike Padrnos has been named Business Development Manager to support the Company’s growth in the Class 8 heavy trucking industry. LCI supplies side windows, windshields, doors and seating for heavy trucks and will begin offering thermoformed plastic products, Furrion^® electronics, mattresses, bed lifts and slide-out systems.

“We stepped into the heavy trucking industry with windows last year when we acquired Duncan Systems and then SpectAl Industries. Since then we’ve grown our offering to include doors and seating,” said Andy Pocock, LCI’s Vice President of Sales for Specialty Markets. “We’re ready to offer several more product lines and to dedicate more resources to the heavy trucking industry. We believe Mike’s experience and insight in the industry will help us build the business and serve customers well.”

Padrnos has 19 years of experience in heavy truck, bus and off-highway vehicles and specializes in product development, product launches and building brand recognition. In his new role as Business Development Manager, Padrnos will work closely with truck manufacturers, educating them on LCI’s truck products and developing product solutions to meet their unique needs.

Padrnos said he’s especially excited to enhance driver experience with LCI’s slide-out system. “I’m captivated by the ingenuity of the truck slide-out,” said Padrnos. “There’s nothing else like it in the market. It’s new, it’s fresh and it will help fleets greatly advance their driver comfort goals.”
