Lippert Components, Inc. (LCI®) enters the replacement pontoon furniture marketplace

October 12, 2016

Elkhart, Ind. — Lippert Components, Inc. (LCI®), a leader in custom marine furniture and components, introduces a full line of premium replacement pontoon furniture for the marine aftermarket channel.

LCI’s Platinum Series replacement pontoon furniture is constructed for comfort, durability and performance in the marine environment. With a modern, monochromatic design and multiple density foam packs, the series features premium marine vinyl that resists mold, mildew and UV rays, aluminum and stainless [steel?] hardware, large, dry storage areas under the seats, and durable polyethylene, rotationally-molded frames that offer support, style and resist warping. The assortment includes 17 items including benches, corners, helm stations, chaises, cup holders and a variety of seats available in dove grey and beige.

“Today’s pontoon boater is demanding better quality, comfort, durability and a more contemporary design, “ said Michele Goldsmith, Sales Director of LCI’s Marine Segment. “Our Platinum Series offers solutions that fulfill the pontoon boater’s desires and offers much more. With more than 35 years of experience manufacturing for world class pontoon builders, it was a natural progression to develop a full range of furniture for the aftermarket customer.”

In the summer of 2015, LCI officially entered the marine furniture marketplace with the acquisition of Signature Seating, a Fort Wayne, IN-based custom upholstered furniture company that primarily manufactures custom pontoon boat furniture. In February 2016, LCI expanded its custom furniture capabilities, acquiring the Highwater furniture division of Nautic Global Group.
