Lippert Components launches Leadership Academy
Elkhart, Ind. — Lippert Components, Inc. (LCI®) announces today that it has launched the Lippert Academy for Leadership™. It is led by Dustin Kaehr in his new role of Director of the Lippert Academy for Leadership.
The Lippert Academy for Leadership is a separate division within the Company. The Academy serves external businesses, nonprofits, and individuals with a variety of programs and offerings, including on-site training and leadership development programs, executive coaching, speaking engagements, and a two-day in-house leadership development experience.
“As we’ve grown, learned, and refined our own leadership training and development programs, our Company recognized that this was a wonderful opportunity to take some of that knowledge and support the leadership, cultural, and business goals of other organizations,” said Jason Lippert, LCI’s CEO. “We’re very excited to officially launch the Lippert Academy for Leadership, and we hope to have a lasting impact on the professional growth of leaders everywhere.”
The Lippert Academy for Leadership builds on and shares what LCI has learned through its mission to align business and cultural strategies to impact the lives of its 11,000 team members in over 65 facilities across the United States, Canada, and Europe. Since beginning this mission, the Company’s attrition has dropped from over 120 percent to below 30 percent in the last six years.
The Academy can customize leadership training and development to meet the needs of any organization. “We’ve helped companies with strategic planning, leadership training, and the development and implementation of core values and mission statements,” stated Kaehr. “These successes are just the beginning of what we hope to accomplish through the Lippert Academy for Leadership. We are excited to share our knowledge and tools with other like-minded businesses.”
The Lippert Academy for Leadership is open to any and all interested companies and businesses and is not specific to any one industry or company size.
For the past two years, Kaehr has served as one of LCI’s Directors of Leadership Development. He has over 20 years of experience helping large and small organizations with leadership challenges, operational management, and employee/customer engagement. Kaehr is also the author of two books: a business book entitled, “Retail is…50 Thoughts, Ideas, and Conversations to Make Your Business Better,” and his latest book, released in October 2018, entitled, “Dear Boys…The Letter Every Son Needs From His Father”.
